RIGHT-FIT IMPLEMENTATION GUARANTEE

We don’t leave until it works.

If we recommend technology, we should be able to explain why it belongs in your business — and we should stay with it until it does the job. This guarantee is about fit, function and accountability, not business outcomes.

We never want a client left with a solution that doesn’t do what we agreed it should do.

The guarantee

Eligible paid TechStack Builders implementations are backed by our Right-Fit Implementation Guarantee.

Before implementation begins, TechStack Builders and the client agree in writing on the core business function the solution needs to perform, and how successful operation of that function will be verified.

If the implementation does not perform that agreed core function, TechStack Builders will continue working to correct it, or replace it with a better-fit approach, at no additional TechStack Builders implementation fee until it does.

If TechStack Builders reasonably determines, after reviewing the issue with the client, that no workable solution exists, TechStack Builders will refund the applicable TechStack Builders implementation fee for that implementation.

Reporting an issue

Any issue covered by the Right-Fit Implementation Guarantee must be reported during implementation or within 30 days after the agreed go-live or acceptance date. Once a qualifying issue is reported, TechStack Builders will continue working to resolve it until the agreed core function operates as defined or TechStack Builders reasonably determines, after reviewing the issue with the client, that no workable solution exists.

The 30 days is when an issue must first be reported — not when we stop. Once you’ve reported a qualifying issue in time, we keep working on it for as long as it takes to resolve.

To report an issue, email hello@techstackbuilders.com with a short description of what isn’t working.

What every covered project defines in writing

  • Solution: what is being implemented.
  • Agreed core business function: the specific business job it must perform.
  • Verification: the objective test used to confirm it works.
  • Client responsibilities: the access, accounts, data, approvals and cooperation needed.
  • Scope: what is included, and what is not.

This keeps the guarantee measurable: “working” means the agreed function passes the agreed test.

Eligible implementations

The guarantee applies to eligible paid TechStack Builders implementations. Your written implementation agreement states whether your project is covered. Advisory-only engagements, purchases of third-party products alone, and other services may have separate terms, which the agreement will set out.

What the guarantee doesn’t cover

We want this to be clear up front, not hidden in fine print. The guarantee does not cover:

  • Third-party software subscriptions, platform fees, usage charges and licensing fees
  • Advertising spend and domain registrations
  • Unrecoverable charges from outside vendors
  • Scope changes you request after the implementation plan is approved
  • Added features or changed requirements, unless added to the written agreement
  • Failures caused by material changes you make after the implementation goes live
  • Third-party platforms materially changing or removing functionality outside our control
  • Missing access, accounts, data or reasonable cooperation needed for the agreed implementation to operate
  • Business results or financial outcomes, such as revenue, sales, profit, leads, customers, appointments, rankings, conversion rates or savings

These exclusions don’t change our responsibility for making the agreed implementation perform its agreed core function. The guarantee applies to TechStack Builders implementation fees only.
